Q.

my one year old daughter suffering with constipation.daily she passed stool hardly one or two times.some times blood tinged. she is feed with Buffalo milk and rice. please give your valuable suggestions.

A. Diet modifications is helpful in babies to avoid constipation than giving laxative. Offer foods such as wholemeal bread and wholegrain cereal, plus fruits and vegetables such as prunes, figs, apricots, plums, peas, broccoli, sweetcorn, potatoes and baked beans. A. Hello dear parent! Your child seems to be constipated. Increase the liquid intake and fibre intake of your child. Bananas and apples are good for digestion and reducing constipation. Give liquids like coconut water, lemon juice, fresh fruits and fruit juices. Speak to your doctor for further advice:
