Q.

My one year old boy doesn't sleep properly. At night he sleeps 8 or 9 hours. In day time 2 short naps and each last for 45 minutes. Totally 10 hours only. He is active and feeding good. Is this sleep sufficient?. How to get him good sleep?

A. Hello, every baby is an individual so it’s difficult to say when exactly she will start sleeping better at night, -Offer a good amount of feed right before you go to bed. -Try to encourage your baby to eat more during the daytime. Because more he eats in daytime, lesser hungry will he be at night. -give massage n bath, singing songs, changing nappies; massaging etc that can make it clear to child that night is for sleeping. -Teach your baby on how to differentiate between night and day. -Make sure that you keep your room dark at night. Even if baby wakes up for feeding, do not switch on the lights and use the dim night lamps only.
