My one year daughter is having white patch on her cheeks .we consulted doctor she told it may be due to calcium but still worried so plzz guide

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application.
they will persist for few weeks and then will go away
if the problem continues beyond twoc weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluation.

some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergy, fungal infection also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.

Usually it will correct within one week apply calamine lotion twice daily keep babys surrounding clean and dust free
Apply coconut oil or olive oil twice daily
Consult with your doctor in person for proepr physical examination and treatment
Maintain hydration
