my one year baby have severe constipation.please suggest some stool softeners

A. You need to give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child and your child appears to be suffering from constipation. In addition try to give papaya banana oats fennel seeds water kishmish vegetables and fruits specially with covers. If your doctor has prescribed constipation medicine then kindly continue themd Many times you have to complete course of constipation medicine. Decrease the milk intake to around 200 ml to 300 ml per day only. The probldem of constipation decreases with increasing age of the child and the medicines give only symptomatic relief.

A. Hello dear parent! Increase the liquid and fibre intake. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables, green leafy vegetables in your child’s diet. Serve your child healthy foods in cute Babyhug bowls to encourage healthy eating
