Q.
my one month old daughter is pooping only once in 3 or 4 days. she is on formula milk and mother milk both. is this normal?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. constipation in small babies is quite commonly seen and is more with babies who are fed with formula milk. Usually constipation of few days is considered as normal in babies below 6 months of age,you can give bonnisan drops 3 times a day to your child will and give frequent feeding, usually medicines or suppositories are avoided in such a case .if baby is having gastric pain you can give collicaid drops.give proper tummy time and burping to avoid gastric trouble. In case of severe constipation of aboycve one week you can give suppository but only under medical advice.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl3 years agoA. Its Constipation issue which is common with kids at this age if your child is taking all the feelings properly and sleeping well and also your child is passing adequate amount of urine about 10 to 12 times in a day then that’s absolutely normal
