ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. Farting is very common in infants and growing babies. And farting is a clear indication of the baby being very gassy
A baby’s digestive tract is immature and still growing and so it becomes difficult for the baby to cope with trapped air bubbles and gas while feeding.
One way to help your baby in this situation is to switch between breasts
Intake of certain gas producing foods by mother can cause farts in babies.the mother eating lots of citrus fruits and dairy products can lead to flatulence in infants in the same way.
Avoid consuming these substance.
