A. If your baby is starting to have hard, small, ball, or pebble-like stools, she could be constipated. For children under 2 months old, you should talk with your pediatrician for advice on how to treat constipation.Pebble poop in children and babies People can try these home remedies to help an infant or child pass hard stool: Giving the child plenty of water and reassuring them that drinking more water may help. Ensuring they eat plenty of high fiber foods like fruit, whole-grain breads, and popcorn.
