Q.

my newborn was diagnosed with congenital hypothyridism with a tsh level of 60 uIU/ml. His doc prescribed eltroxin of 50mg for 15 days. we started the medication at 5th day owndays. After 15 days when we checked tsh it was lowered to 0.16 uIU/ml. so doc lowered dose to 37.5mg. after 15 days we rechecked and tsh was 0.21mg. doc again lowered dose to 25mg. After 15 days when rechecked it was again on 0.12 uIU/ml. so doc decided to stop the medication. Is it okay to stop the medication now?
