my newborn is very sleepy she sleeps atleast 22 hours ,don't cry for feed I have to wake her up for every 2 -3 hours only take feeds for 10-15 mins then sleep for long but she is passing urine 5-6 time .is it normal?

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist1 week agoA. Namaste Mom, Observe the pattern for a month or so also keep a check on the weight gain of the baby , if there are growth progress well and good and the baby is passing urine and motion then no worries at all.

This is normal for a child they can actually sleep for 18 to 20 hours in a day and hardly wake up to take a feed on their own so if you are managing this feed every two or three hours the way you are then that’s good enough after a month you will see a change in the child
