Q.

My newborn is suffering from gas from last 2-3 days. We are continuously burping him after every feed/keep him in upright position for atleast 15-20 mins And below are the medicines we are giving him. 1. Neopeptine ( 0.3ml/thrice a day) 2. Carmicide ( 0.4ml/. Thrice a day ) But there is no relief from gas, please suggest if need to change the medicine

A. dear mum at one time feed from only one breast do not switch breast so that baby receives both carbohydrate and fat rich milk this maintains balance colic hold with rhythmic motion cycling exercise

A. this is due to gas problem. give two drops of colic aid before the feed. you can use mamaearth gastro relief rollon on the tummy. it's quite effective. you yourself eat light food which is easily digestible. continue doing burping to the child and keeping in upright position for 15 to 20 minutes.
