my new born is premature baby and is now 9 months old,born weight was 900 gm and now he is 5.7kg,now on feed like mother milk,home made Cerelac,dal,and fruit puree,doctor has adviced to give iron drops for 1 year ,,but his stool is very hard notty like goat stool,,is iron drops is the cause and what we can give him to soften stool and to improve weight gain as past 2 months he has gained only 100 gm
