A. please specify full back. is it full body? mangolian spots are greenish blue birthmarks which can be seen in different parts of the body especially in buttocks, and joints of hands and legs. sometimes in shoulder joints. These are the accumulation of melanin pigments and are trapped in certain parts of the body. these are not harmful and does not require any treatment. will vanish in few years. in some cases it will not go and continue as birth marks. In that case it can be removed by laser treatment in the adult life. nothing to worry regarding that. just Google mangolian spot and make sure of it. If it is not you can see a paediatrician as there is no any photographs.thanks
