Q.

my new born baby is having hydrocele.. doctor said the water will drain automatically in few months, now my baby is 3 months old but still there is no change in that part. again we went for scanning and it shows hydrocele, doctor said to wait till 6th month.. is it normal? or do we have to go for any further treatment? we are very worried about my baby.. is that part painful for my baby?

A. Hello and good noon In most cases, hydrocele goes away without treatment within the first year. if hydrocele that doesn't disappear on its own might need to be surgically removed. kindly get in touch with paedritician surgeon and do follow their advice .

A. A Assessment can only reveal as to in how much time the water is going to drain out completely see you should consult a specialist in this area they would be able to give you a better clarity on the issue because without proper assessment we not be will to give you any correct advice on this
