Q.

My month old is not sleeping in longer stretches and waking up every 2 hours once at night. Is it normal and is there any way to make the baby sleep longer so that I get some good sleep

A. yes that's fine if the child is sleeping more than normal but the growth of the child is proper and in between activity of the child is normal then no intervention is required but if you feel that the child is lethargic and is not taking feeds properly then medical examination is very important

A. It’s normal as your child must be getting hungry which is why your child is waking up and taking a feeding and going back to sleep so it’s very normal thing to be seen with kids in the initial six months to 1 year and if you feel that the child is not sleeping longer because of the feed then you can try giving formula feed that usually gives a child for a longer division
