Q.
My lmp was 21-03-2023, i am positive in urine test as per my calculation i was in 7 th week of pregnancy. But there is no baby in ultrasound and suggested to take beta hcg, My HCG level is 291 its shows 5 weeks. Is it positive or negative

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. 297 is considered as positive and you should wait for one week more and then go for a transviginal sonography to detect properly about the pregnancy weeks According to the result you can consult with your doctor further

It is definitely positive as per your beta HCG but that’s very unbelievable kind of a situation that the baby is not seen an ultrasound see your HCG definitely confirms that it is positive but for that what is needed to be done that your doctor is only going to guide you
