Q.
my little one is one month old, we gave him bottle feed from day 2 coz my milk is not enough for him. now he got fever and everyone told me this is because of bottle. I use dr. brown bottle and i setrliz and clean bottle very well. now i want to shift to katori chammach but he refused to take it from.. now im confused and in anxiety .. what to do now.. . plz suggest..

Author of questionMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy8 years agoA. Everyone blamed me for using bottle. and now he completely refused to take from katori chammach and even dr. said why u use bottle. im so scared as im new, he is my 1st child. any other way to feed ?? thanks for reply.

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children8 years agoA. The fever may not be always due to bottle infection. If you are taking the necessary steps for clean and sterilised bottle then u need not worry and continue with bottle feeding. The aerola are the basic things that u should take care. You should wash the bottle with a bottle cleaning liquid and sterilise it after every use definitely otherwise baby nay get bottle infection. You should change the nipple whenever you see a wear or tear or when the nipple changes color or in two to three months whichever is the earliest. You should change the bottle if u notice a crack or discoloration or once in every four to six months again whichever is the earliest.
