Q.
My lil one is of 8 months. Apart from solid we are giving formula milk to her . Mother milk stopped after 5 months. Can we give her cow milk

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. no, cow milk would be hard to digest at this age. Formula is better as it is made similar to breast milk.
so continue with formula milk till 1 year of age.

Yes, as your baby is now 8 months old, you can start giving cow milk to the baby, but for first few days dilute it with some water so that it is easier to digest. You can also introduce it by feeding foods made from it like paneer, curd, custard, oats with nuts, etc.
