#AskTheExpert my left breast has 7-8 open pores but my right breast only has 2 open pores which is why it is always engorged and baby not much satisfied. How can i open clogged pores.

ExpertSwaraLactation Expert7 years agoA. Continue to feed the baby on that breast and maybe even a few minutes longer on that side, also you can apply a warm towel on that breast before feeding to try opening up the ducts. You can also massage the breasts in a circular motion working your way from the outside and then towards nipple before and after feeding as a ways to open up the ducts. Avoid wearing anything tight or restrictive. Make sure you drink lots of lots fluids.
