my kid is 5months now... from when can I start her feeding Cerelac

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. Till 6 months complete only breastfeeding or formula feed should be given after completing 6 months you should start with water along with Dal water and rice water only in continuation with breast milk it's better you should not give any packet food like Cerelac and concentrate to give more of homemade food after completing 7 months you should start with Semi solid food like vegetable soup for fruits purry and then slowly move on for solid food so that the babies digestion remains good

Not before completing the age of 26 weeks there is a protocol that parents have to follow before they introduce their food to the child the child has to be in the correct age so please let your child be in the right age then you can introduce it to your child
