Q.

my kid is 3 months old she is having motions from past 6 days Dr gave superfloragg but still she passes after every feed I used to breastfeed and give dexolac from yesterday she is not taking my nipple in mouth how much if I try also bottle also she is not taking easily

A. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite . supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic can be given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose . Antibiotics has their role only if ibgt is bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .
