My kid gets congestion very frequently ? what best can be done to avoid doctor said he is aleergic

Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed. if any fever isgy there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperatgure and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

So if your doctor has already told you that your child is allergic for 1st to get an allergy test done for the child with that you will be hundred percent sure as to what all is your child allergic to and on that basis you can go ahead with the treatment and once your child is completely fine the treatment is going to work fine and then you can go ahead with anything that you want to then your child would you be allergic anymore what is the treatment is been done
