my kid 6year old having loos motion bcis of dehydration light fever given calpol ,now which syrup should be given for diarrhea pls suggest

DEEPAKGuardian of a 7 yr 5 m old girl4 years agoA. My 3 year daughter is having high fever since today mornings.we gave her 5 ml of pcm oral suspension but the fever has not subsided. Her full body is hot. Now after 5 hours of giving medicine slight loose motion seem to have started. She did ate some food and approx half glass of water. She is not drinking electral but had two Yakult. Should we wait till 2-3 dose of pcm or take her immediately to a doc?any other medicine required?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. it may be any inefvtion .Loose stool can cause dehydration there fore milk should be avoided for some days as it is not digested well and give o r s to baby to prevent dehydration . Also give zinc drop and probiotic
