ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist3 years agoA. Hello mom first would suggest to introduce the baby to liquids and then gradually move to semi solids and mashed foods . You can start with one food at a time and then gradually increase the quantity and variety and number of meals as well .
Alternate it with your feed .
You can give steamed vegetable or soups , fresh fruit juices or pulp , porridge made with ragi or multigrain mix or kichidi etc

once a child become 6 months old ,you can start with liquid diet like dal Pani, rice water which is easy to digest.
initially ,you can serve this for once in a day.
then gradually you can add variety of food items in your child diet.
gradually increase the consistency and quantity of food.
