Q.

My inlaws made my 3 month old to sit on their lap or arm..I am worried about her back binding.is it safe to made baby sit?

A. Baby grows in phasic manner First back muscles get strengthen Baby started sitting with support by 4 to 5 months follow by sitting without support 8 to 9 months Rolling or spontaneous sitting comes by 10 to 11months, Standing comes by 13 months. Baby must walk by 18 months if not so must consult for lower limb muscle tone and power. Consult with pediatrics neurologist.

No Not at all your in-laws are old people I mean they must be knowing that their child could not sit before completing the age of six months without support and if there already made your child is it then that’s not good accidentally you can actually end up damaging the spine of the child that’s not good before the age of six months
