Mom of a 4 yr 3 m old boy2 years ago
Q.

My husband and I both have diabetic history in our family. Both my husband and I have minor thalassemia and our baby who is 18 months now also have minor thalassemia. My son eats a lot of sugary item. But now I have started to replace the sugar with jaggery powder. Is it a good option? Also, at this stage he speaks only 2-3 words like maa, papa however he understands our language and responds also. Should I worry about his less speaking?

A. Hello mom no he is doing good , and kids almost by the age of 2 to 3 they speak about 2 to 3 word sentences as well . So keep stimulating his speech by engaging him in a conversation, or reading some age appropriate books C singing etc
