Q.

my grandson does not suck and drink milk but he drinks expressed moms milk in a bottle and sleeps always is it normal. How milk is needed for a baby weighing 3.9kgs he has jaundice also when discharged 10% jaundice was there. Can u please give any advice.

A. Hello mom the baby can be given within the range of 50 to 100 ml about 6 to 8 times a day, though the cquantity can difer as every indvidual person has their own capacity, Exposure to morning sunlight would be benefical

A. hello the baby is not able to take the milk directly then you can express and give or you can also try using the nipple shield from babyhug which also can help baby take the milk directly and any concern you may check with your doctor and she can guide you accordingly
