my grand child having fever with cough. badly irritated. please suggest me drugs a dose. he is 13 month old. wt is 12 kg.

Dr Raksha guptaMom of a 9 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. These kind of fever are usually Viral in nature .
You must give paracetamol containing medicine to baby at 6 hourly for 1 day, if fever does come down to base line you must add meftal p syrup for that spike.you can do tepid sponging with Luke warm water.

Vritika AroraMom of a 5 yr old child3 years agoA. Hi dear mom. Give paracetamol to ur baby for fever and u can give maxtra syrup for cold and cough to ur baby.. Give steam inhalation to ur baby 2-3 times in a day and apply baby rub on the chest and feet of the baby.
