Q.

my girl is 17 months but weighs only 9 kgs...how to increase her weight?? her height is 79 cm.is it ok?? but she is over active n her sleep is very less..she doesn't have any problem as such .

A. Hello mom Every child has his own metabolism and it differs from child to child so the weight basically depends a lot upon the birth weight which generally triples by one year of age and then on the child gains about 2 to 4 kgs yearly height mostly depends upon genes either of the parents or the close relations that you can check but as you have mentioned the child is quite active enough for his age do not worry if he’s eating well as well apart from the sleep for that try to give him a good massages daily and warm water bath would help try to get him tired get him involved in some activities so that she get tired, eats well and then falls asleep
