My girl is 13mo. Dr prescribed albendazole 200mg 5 day for ascaris treatment till 14 Oct. She recovered but now Again I am seeing the worms in stool. what is the reason for recurring worm infection?

A. Hello, your baby girl is 13 months old and she had a round worms infestation so give her suspension Albendazole 10 ml at night and then repeat it after 21 days

A. hi dear Common treatments for a roundworm infection include mebendazole (Vermox, Emverm) and albendazole (Albenza). Symptoms typically begin to improve after a few weeks of treatment. Your doctor will most likely take and analyze another stool sample after treatment is complete to see if the worms have disappeared.
