Q.
my girl baby is 2.10 years old. The head is heat but not the body could this be a fever or body heating issue?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry about the warm head palm and soles. d you have to consider it as fever only if the temperature in the armpit is 100°f / 37.7°c or more. the warm head palms and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas (that is necessary for development) which is normal.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl1 Year agoA. You will have to check it with thermometer if the temperature is 99°F then you say it is fever and then you can give a medication but if it is below 99°F then there is no requirement for any medication as it’s a normal body temperature
