Q.

my girl 1 month old has not gained the birth weight yet. don't know if she is taking in enough milk.. i feel I've enough milk to feed her..

A. dear if you are baby is one month old and has not regained the birth weight then this needs to be investigated consult your doctor breastfeeding technique needs to be checked at one time baby should be fed only from one breast do not switch breast so that she receives fat rich hindmilk which helps in weight gain

A. in first month as babies try to adjust with new environment weight gain is low... as my dr said to me... and as she is 1 month old its always better to consult paediatrician for proper guidance... urination and sleeping for 2hrs are the factors used to check whether feeding is enough or not .. so consult paediatrician to clear your queries.. take care
