Q.

my gaughter is 23 months old. her coughing is not going since last 3 weeks. she coughs in the night and today she had been coughing the whole day. pls advise medications. we have been providing her Zyrcold and Tixylix which was advised earlier by doctor. she has runny nose in day time

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is tgiven. along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic mejdicine given. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
