my four month old daughter has a vascular birthmark on her head. it looks bulgie. by when will it settle down . will the color change from red?

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hemangiomas are clusters of extra blood vessels on a baby's skin. They may be there when a baby is born, or form within a few weeks or months of birth. Some may look like rubbery, bumpy red "strawberry" patches while others resemble deep bruises.

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hi dear As the baby starts to breathe air, the color changes to red. This redness normally starts to fade in the first day. A baby's hands and feet may stay bluish in color for several days. This is a normal response to a baby's underdeveloped blood circulation.
