Q.
my five month old son is not gaining enough weight.. he doesn't feel hungry much.. and is not drinking enough milk.. he spits alot. he is on formula fed.. I get very disturbed when people say he is very thin.. what should I do.

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist4 years agoA. Hello mom formula milk is quite filling in nature and also causes lot of gas also .. so hence the fullness is their and also.. so burping is very much required .. babies will double their birth weight by the age of 4 to 6 months .
You can now also start with weaning foods for him you can introduce them to liquids such as dal or rice water or vegetable soup or fresh fruit juices
