A. i was myself victim of the same situation, i had 6 years younger sister. my parents would scold me all the time, it is actually very depressing. i feel it retards the basic reaction processing of the elder child and he/ she starts feeling neglected. be cautious mam and try your level best not to create this gap with your elder child. do remember he too is just 5 years old and this age is not that big to understand such huge words ELDER BROTHER AND RESPONSIBILITY. i would suggest go for a helping hand, i know it is very difficult to manage all the things. but dont let your elder child feel neglected and rejected. all the very best

A. Hi. Please be patient as your child may be wants you when he sees you with the new born. Don't loose temper on him, it can worsen the situation. Take out some time for yourself and it will be fine. take some rest and handle such situations patiently
