my doctor has suggested 2 tests after 12 weeks of pregnancy.. double marker and NIPT. can you pls advise if double marker is sufficient and NIPT can be avoided. pls suggest

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. if the anti scan report is normal and also you the double marker is normal then you don't need to go for NIPT test. it should be done only if in case you had any previous history of abnormalities in your baby
