my doctor has prescribed osto polybion syrup to my 2m 10 days old baby after which use he has not passed stool for two days n unable to burp n also gas is stucked in his stomach also is this the side effect of the medicine why this medicine is prescribed??

A. it might be due to this. still do buro him after each feeding, give upright position to feed n after feeding keep him in upright position for some time. if he is uncomfortable do apply hing paste around navel
