A. I'm not a doctor, but I can provide general guidance. Paracetamol (P250) is commonly used to reduce fever in children. However, it's important to follow the dosage instructions provided by your pediatrician or on the medication packaging. Here are some general guidelines: 1. **Dosage:** The dosage of paracetamol for children is typically based on their weight. For a child weighing around 10.6 kg, the recommended dose would typically be around 120 mg per dose. P250 refers to 250 mg paracetamol per tablet, so you may need to administer a portion of the tablet to achieve the appropriate dose. 2. **Frequency:** It's generally recommended to wait at least 4 hours between doses of paracetamol. If the fever persists or returns, you can give another dose after this interval, but not more than 4 doses in 24 hours unless directed by a healthcare provider. 3. **Monitoring:** Keep an eye on your child's temperature and overall condition. If the fever persists for more than 24-48 hours, or if your child shows other concerning symptoms, consult a doctor promptly. 4. **Other Measures:** Along with medication, ensure your child stays hydrated and comfortable. Dress them lightly and provide a cool environment to help reduce fever. Always consult with your child's pediatrician for specific advice tailored to your child's health condition and medical history. If you're unsure about the dosage or have any concerns, it's best to seek professional medical advice promptly.
