Q.

My daughter will be 6 MO tomorrow and I will be starting with solids. Is it okay to start with Apple or banana puree or I should start with daal ?

A. it's fine if you start with fruits.. no worries Always feed solid food to your baby when he is sitting on a chair or in your lap. Don’t feed solid when your baby is lying on his back. Don’t add breastmilk or formula milk during cooking, it should not be heated directly on the flame. Add breast milk or formula milk once the food is ready to eat for your baby. Baby food must be soft, properly cooked and easy to chew. Start with a very small quantity and slowly increase the portion. Weaning food must be a single grain food. Always feed freshly cooked food to your baby.

A. hello actually no not at all just start with the semi solid kind of food items like Ragi porridge cerelac dal rice kind of very light mild food items later on you can start off with fruits and vegetables
