Q.

My daughter was having cough n fever we consulted doctor n he did x ray n said infection in chest and said its pneumonia. She is taking anti biotic cough syrup n neboligers and her cough improved today there is little blood in her nose mucus.

A. due to forceful blowing of nose sometimes the fine capillaries can leak and may cause blood streaked nasal discharge . if blood discharge is more consult your doctor for assessment

I have 8 year son. he has got cough. doctor examined him by stethoscope and told me chest is clear ,cough is in his throat.but when I gave him my son's chest x ray ,he told me that yes, infection is there. my question is how stethoscope couldn't detect chest infection? why x ray detected it? is it possible that chest infection is detected by x ray and stethoscope fail to detect chest infection????
