Q.

#AskTheExpert my daughter temperature, when checked on manual (hicks) thermometer, shows no fever but when checked on digital (dtrust) thermometer shows 101 fever. I'm currently giving her Calpol 1 ml as suggested by my paediatrician. What could he the reason of her forehead being warm despite no feber ?

A. head is warm in babies due to growth phase n high metabloism n hyper dynamic circulation. thats y it s always warmer than odr bosy parts u dnt hav to wry

A. hi mom, do not worry it's teething g symptom.. look for your baby's swollen gums... if fever is more than 100 degree fahrenheit then only give calpol drops otherwise no need to worry give lightly digesting food like Khichdi vegetable soup fruit and vegetable puree also you can massage baby gums with clean singer or clean cotton cloth dipped in Icy cold water which will give relief from irritant and swollen gum
