My daughter passes black stool whenever she eats more sweet items or jaggery (with chapati)at night. Is it normal?

A. Hi. Yes, it is alright. Jaggery is a rich source of iron. So stools tend to be black when given iron rich foods. As long as it is suiting her, you can give.

A. it will be better if you do not give jaggery to the baby if the loose motions are there in or black colour motions are there and please check with the doctor over this issue
