My daughter of 4 years old is having constipation frequently. On advice of doctor I gave pegclear medicine & the stool is normal. But when I stop using medicine, again after 1 week, the constipation starts. Please advice natural ways to avoid constipation. She used to drink water normally.

Specially give papaya, banana, oats, fennel seeds water pear, prune, pineapple, resins, plum as it will help in decreasing condstipation. Even after that the problem continues kindly meet your doctor for constipation medicine. it is important for you to know that the problem of constipation will improve with incredasing age of the child. You may increase or decrease the dosage of constipation medicine if needed according to the consistency of the stool.
