Q.

My daughter just turned 18 months and still breastfeeds. however, I don't lactate any more. what should I do? I have tried stopping her feeding from me but she still suckles twice or thrice a day.

A. hi as per my opinion, weaning process should be done gradually because it is not only food for your child,it provides comfort and security too. so make feeding sessions short gradually offer food before your child asks for feeding. make food presentation attractive for example use carrots beetroot palak etc to make your child food more colorful. it will help to encourage your child to take interest in food. try to make your child sit to take meal with whole family because children learn more from imitating their parents.
