Q.

My daughter is turning 3 next month. She is finding it difficult to climb steps on her own. She is too scared that she would fall. But when we encourage her she is trying and she is falling sometimes. She can climb up holding the railing of steps but without holding she is unable to climb.Climbing down is way more difficult. Even if she holds the railing she is falling. Should we consult a doctor on this?

A. Hold the hands of your child to make your child climb the stairs with the help of your support and one side on the railing this is how slowly your child is going to pick up and this thing right now that you think about the child is completely normal and natural so it is going to be over in sometime it is just a matter of time
