Q.

My daughter is took her BCG vaccine at birth. She is 5 weeks now and has pus at that spot with swelling. please advice #AskTheExpert

A. bcg vaccination which is given at birth in the upper arm will form a swelling by one or maximum two months and then it will burst open and then pus will come out from it and after thatf it will become a scar mark. you have to take medical consultation if it days causing pain fever and discomfort to the child. also if the pus discharge is increasing or aggravating again you have to meet the doctor and locally you can apply t bact cream

A. getting swelling and pus out from the BCG vaccination area this is normal it will be cured on its own maintain hygiene clean using a cotton ball dip in warm water you can use lacto calamine lotion or sandal paste on it
