Q.

my daughter is suffering from stomach pain from yesterday night to till now.My doctor suggest me combination of meftal spas syrup and metrogyl syrup.please suggest me that syrups both are taken or not.please suggest the best syrup.

A. Hello, your baby girl is 25 months old and she is having a pain in her tummy and if she doesn’t have any fever or loose motions then no meftal or anti amoebiasis drugs are given

A. Stomach pain in children is a common complaint seen frequently. There could be many reasons for this .it can be functional or due to some pathologhy which needs to be ruled out. Common causes are constipation gaseous discomfort worm infestation gastritis gastrodenteritis or some chronic infection . Syp cyclopam 5 ml can be given sos for stomach pain and consult your doctor for proper examintation to rule out the cause .
