Q.

My daughter is suffering from cough and cold for the last 2 days. Initially the doctor gave her levocitrizin, dopezin and budcal nebulizer. she was coughing a lot since today morning so the doctor added 2 more medicine, omnacortil forte 4 times a day 7 ml and Azee Xl for 5 days along with her previous medicine. what should be the gap between 2 omnacortil dosage?

A. the dosage of omnacortil is high in your case take a revisit to ascertain the dose and frequency as the medicine has got more side effects. gap of at least half an hour should be maintained between any two medicine which will help in improving the chances of absorption of the medicine for better results. also when two medicines are given together they may react with each other decreasing the efficacy of both the medicines

A. hello you should give the medicine as prescribed by your doctor for the given number of days and after the complete of the dosage if still there is no improvement then it would be better to check with your doctor again and she will be able to guide you accordingly
