my daughter is pooing more than 5 times a day and she cries before she poops, sometimes she is pooping in green color. should I consult a doctor

A. Newborn babies do pass 8- 10 times stool or once in 5-6 days are normal variation for this age .So don't worry if she is passing urine frequently, taking feed properly and active.No medication will help & is not needed also. try to feed longer from one side
