A. Dear mum, weight of 6.1 kg is a normal weight for your 6 months old baby if baby has doubled the birth weight by 6 months. For healthy weight gain, give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. Continue to breastfeed and give milk products like curd, paneer. Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible. Give 2 to 3 meals a day and up to half katori every time.
